Frequently the art that I create is a commentary on my life (former or nowadays), but is equally inspired by the fabric or object that I have collected. My excuse is that my over active imagination is a result of not having gone to kindergarten. I enjoy hand as well as machine stitching and like to incorporate the myriad of automatic machine stitches available. Incorporating unusual objects like zippers and CD's help to stimulate the viewer's imagination and thoughts about what happens to all the 'stuff' we throw out.
