Helen GordonKanata, ONemail: helen.gordonATrogers.com I've tried my hand at just about every possible form of embroidery and textile art. I like to combine many different techniques in one piece of art, such as using different types of embroidery from counted work to free form to produce an unusual design. I've recently added quilting to my tool box and enjoy the speed of producing pieces by machine versus hand sewing, but my heart probably still lies with the handwork. My work can be seen at the Ontario Network of Needleworkers show Threadworks 2010 – Trees, a travelling juried exhibition of creative needlework currently running April 24th, 2010 - June 13th, 2010 at the Wellington County Museum in Fergus Ontario, and throughout Ontario for the next 2 years.
