Some of my earliest memories involve cloth, yarn and stitch. I often submitted assignments in fibre as I pursued a fine arts degree at Concordia. Ten years ago, I renewed my interest in traditional quilting, and have now extended my enthusiasm to painting and collage on fabric. Recent themes have included "A Walk in the Woods", "Seeds, Pods, Husks", and "Love, Love, Love", an exploration of the Eternal Feminine. I like to include text and transparency in my work, adding levels of meaning and ambiguity.
