I've been in love with textiles for as long as I can remember. Sewing, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, weaving, felting, beading, quilting... all have been a part of my life at one time or another. I enjoy the challenges and the discipline imposed by “wearable art”: sculpting flat fabric to fit the curves of the body; figuring out how to produce an original piece that reflects the character and lifestyle of the person wearing it; combining structure, proportions, texture and colour so that my clients will always feel beautiful and comfortable in their clothes.

For the last few years I've been studying different ways of dyeing, painting and printing textiles, and am finally able to create the fabrics I've always had in my mind's eye. I've also begun creating buttons, jewelry and other accessories, as I continue to explore ways to "speak with the hand".
